Kurt Bryan Modesto Flag Football Commissioner Bio:
Modesto Christian head football coach, Kurt Bryan, is in his 31st year at the high school, NCAA, and professional levels. In his 14 years previously as a head coach at the high school and professional levels, Bryan has played every player in every game, and he has earned Coach of the Year honors three times (1993, 1995 & 2007). Bryan’s football teams have earned one undefeated league championship and been in the CIF state playoffs six times.
Bryan has been recognized by his peers as being one of the game’s dynamic innovators for his Co-creation of the A-11 Offense in 2007.
Professionally, Bryan has developed outstanding football players from many colleges and universities, including – Alabama, Ole Miss, Fresno State, San Jose State, Sacramento State, Arizona State, UCLA, Cal, Wake Forest, University of South Florida, Southern Oregon, Wofford University, and Troy University.

Nick Kendall Modesto Flag Football Deputy Commissioner Bio:Coach Nick Kendall is in his second year with the Modesto Christian football program, and Kendall has also been named as the JV Head Football Coach for the 2024 season.
Kendall’s transformative football coaching odyssey began in 2010 in Fresno, CA, and he’s never looked back from his days as a youth football player in the east bay, and at Oakland Technical High School. He served as the head football coach for Rio Vista Middle School for four years, and then a stint at McLane High School, before moving ahead for three years at Clovis West High School, including one year as the JV head coach. He has also coached for the Lincoln Trojans of Stockton, and for the Modesto Raiders at the youth levels.
Kendall brings his love of football, passion, commitment, and a deep-rooted understanding of the game to MC, and he aims to shape and inspire today’s youth to succeed in life and football.
